Tigridia - Tiger Flower

Tigridia is a genus of non-hardy bulbous plants that bloom in summer with striking flowers. The individual flowers only last for one day, but due to the many buds, the plants flower over a longer period. It is best to keep Tigridia in a large, spacious pot that is placed indoors in the winter. Keep the plants on the dry side and do not water them. In the spring Tigridia can be placed outside in a spot in the sun to light shade.
