Tree Fern (Dicksonia)

Tree Fern (Dicksonia)

Tree Fern (Dicksonia) is a genus of ferns which will form an upright, trunk-like rhizome. It will take a few years before this truck shows. Plant the Tree Fern in a pot so that it can be moved inside for the winter. Planting in the garden is also possible as long as you properly wrap it in the winter with straw and a fleece (not plastic). Tree Fern likes a spot in half-shade with high humidity. Give the Tree Fern a humus rich soil such as leaf mould and ensure enough water is given.
