General information about Speedwell (Veronica):
Speedwell (Veronica) comes in many species and sizes. All species like the sun but are not to fussed about their soil. The low species appreciate a well-draining soil. Speedwell comes mainly in shades of blue and white. There are a few pink ones. The taller species of Speedwell are great in the border and combine well with Tickseed (Coreopsis), Masterwort (Astrantia), Ox-eye Daisy (Leucanthemum) and Yarrow (Achillea). The low, or even crawling species of Speedwell are good in the rockery, maybe combined with Thrift (Armeria) and Heron's Bill (Erodium).
