Wachsglocke  (Kirengeshoma)

Von der Gattung Wachsglocke sind zwei Arten besonders gut für den Garten geeignet. Kirengeshoma palmata aus Japan und Kirengeshoma koreana aus Korea. Es sind echte Schattenpflanzen mit schönen ahornähnlichen Blättern und prächtigen hellgelben Blüten. Es gibt nicht sehr viel Unterschied zwischen den beiden Arten, aber die Blüten von Kirengeshoma palmata sind etwas schlanker. Am liebsten steht die Wachsglocke an einem kühlen Ort auf normalem Boden an einem Platz im Halbschatten. Sie verträgt auch mehr oder weniger Sonne, aber dann muss der Boden entsprechend feucht sein. Die Wachsglocke will gerne ausreichend Nährstoffe. Geben Sie eventuell jährlich etwas Kompost. Die Wachsglocke ist im Schattengarten unentbehrlich, z. B. zusammen mit Farnen, Christophskraut (Actaea), Herbstanemone (Anemone), Eisenhut (Aconitum) und Waldaster (Aster divaricatus).

Yellow Waxbells needs a fertile soil so adding some compost annually is good. Yellow Waxbells is a must in the shady garden, together with ferns, Baneberry (Actaea), Anemone (Anemone), Monkshood (Aconitum) and White Wood Aster (Aster divaricatus).
