Goosefoot  (Chenopodium)

Goosefoot (Chenopodium) is closely related to spinach. Some species of this genus are useful as teas or vegetables. Also some have medicinal properties. The flowers of Goosefoot are not spectacular, but because of its tall panicles of green inconspicuous flowers they can bring rest into a border of bright colours. Usually, Goosefoot wants a spot in the sun or half shade in a normal to moist soil. For good growth, the soil needs to be fertile.
